Hello Hey guys,
I just signed up for this site. I have a 2005 GTO M6 that I just bought last month. It is my first new car - ever! I have always stuck with the old classics, I have a 1974 Vette and an old Corvair of all things. Anyhow, I am very interested in these new cars and hope I can learn a lot from the more experienced guys here. Thanks...

I hate to get rid of the old stuff. The vette has a well built 350 but the damn thing only gets 8 - 12 MPG. I can't afford to drive it. The Corvair was my dads originally, I'm the second owner. Maybe a LS1 in the vette with a 4L60 would bring up the MPG and keep the same power??? I'll have to slip that one by the wife with out her noticing. Wish me luck...

The new GTO is a great car but I really can't wait to get some tuning software available for the LS2. I feel that the PCM is not always letting the engine produce full power. There are some issues with IAT and I can't help but wonder what the PCM is really doing with the throttle position.

Welcome man, like they said dont get rid of the "old school" cars. I think they are still badass no matter how old they get, they just have this mean look on them. Enjoy the site & keep the muscles!!
