Default New Guy

I have just recently signed up here. this is my first experience with forums. So far it seems really cool and informative. Plus it’s a good way to pass the time at work. Well to start the intro; I drive a 93 Trans Am, obviously. I bought it new in March of 93 and fell in love as soon I she went sideways pulling off the dealers lot when I picked her up. Bone stock she ran 13.8s at Englishtown in Jersey. All I did was remove the junk box in the fender attached to the air filter housing and removed the filter. Put some “Sticky Mickeys” out back and let her rip. The first mod I did we a Thermomaster chip from Hypertech and their low temp stat. I was completely in love again when she ran a 13.38 after just those 2 mods. I was so happy I left the white shoe polish on my windows for a week.
I have not run her since that summer of 93; there are only 8th mile tracks around me now and not very nice ones. From there the bolt-ons have continued here and there. No major mods yet, but I plan on going with the LT4 kit and a 383 or a 396 stroker. I would like to put 500+ to the wheels but I will need to win the lotto or have a relative die before I can afford to do that. I am just doing little things here and there as I can.
So far: Hypertech chip and low temp stat, ran various cold air kits until I got a functional Suncoast Creations hood, full MSD ignition (6AL, wires and coil), Hurst shifter, Centerforce Dual Friction clutch, 1LE A/C delete, 1LE aluminum drive shaft, JBA headers (wrapped), hollow cat, 3” custom exhaust using Flowmaster that can be easily swapped with a strait pipe, 4:10s in the rear pumpkin, strut tower brace, rear control arms, Mac under drive pulley, and Corbeau racing seats.
Free-bee mods: throttle body coolant by-pass, rear seat and belt delete, and soon the EGR delete.
Cosmetics: purple paint job (Hawaiian Orchid), removed side body molding, relocated Trans Am letters to ground effects, reverse indiglow guage face with 98 and up guage face bezel, various shifter *****, billet wheels, Suncoast Creations hood and 98 and up tail lights.
