Hey everyone im new here... building a 383 lt1 stroker motor for my 95 trans am if you have any suggestions commets or any idea that you think would help let me know. the car is ready i am just waiting for the motor, a rebuild of my t56 and a 12 bolt rear end.

 

Welcome to the sight. Don't know much about the LT1s, but sounds like a pretty stout ride your building.

 

welcome! A buddy of mine has a 95 Formula with a 383 stroker he just finished up recently, has it running high 11s with a mostly stock set-up on compression, a mild cam and stock ported heads. You should like you're on the right track with the 12 bolt rear to handle the power, good luck and be sure to post up in the drag racing forum with results when you get her to the track.
