Figured I'd re-introduce myself Hey guys, registered here a while back but didn't get on much :p
I currently own a 1998 Camaro V6
, had it since I was 17 and have been aching to get rid of it and buy an LS1. I'm 20 years old and a mechanical engineering student. I'm looking at a very clean 2000 Camaro SS that I like a lot, the dealer is asking $17k though 
I'm going to try to pick it up for ~12k or something.
I finally have a ways of buying this car, I have about 7.5k saved plus whatever my car is worth.
I'm new here but not to message boards or f-bodies, I think I have 9k posts at LS2.com but it's time to learn some tech! 
I think the first thing I'm going to do is read through the archives and find out what kind of SLP options that SS came with...
