Default New from SoCal

Hey guys(and ladies), just joined a couple days ago, did'nt get a chance to post until now. I've been wanting an F-body for 5 years now and I finally got one 3 weeks ago. Bought a 2000 blue Trans Am with a 6-speed. The car is completely stock except for a flowmaster exhaust, and had 58,000 miles. The car was very clean and in very good condition until a week ago I decided to take it to Route 66 Rondevous and rear-ended a stupid toyota!!!. The Damge wasn't very severe, you can't from 6 feet away, but there charging me 800 dollars to fix it.
Anyways, the main reason I joined was to get advice on mods for my car. I will give give advise only on stuff I know, if I don't know I wont post, don't want to confuse anybody or give stupid advice. Thanks

Which car did you take? Both your Camaro and Mustang seem to be pretty sweet.
As fot the accident, no worries. Only a a small dent on the driver's side headlight and scraches on the paint of the bumper. I'll probably fix it when I get a ws6 hood at the latest. The other car needs a whole new bumper. Do you know a shop that will fix it and color match it perfectly for a good price, at least less than 800 dollars?

I sure do but they are in Hemet which is about 30 minutes from you. I will get you the # and PM it to you. His name is Mike. He just fixed my Mustang and also painted the stripe on the Camaro hood. He is fast, good quality and good price.

Welcome! Sorry to hear about the wreck man. If you want some advice, change the exhaust...Flowmaster doesn' t flow that well. The Hooker cat-back is one of the better systems, and also one of the cheapest.

Thanks 1 BLOWN, can you get me there number I don't mind the 30 min drive.
As for the flowmaster, I know it doesn't flow well, but it sounds good. every body thats herd me rev says it sounds nice. I'm begging to save-up for some sfc and a new exhaust. I was thinking about getting Kenny Brown's and a GMMG.
