New Kid From Burlington, CT
Hey, I'm only 16 but I'm huge into cars and have had a ton of experiance with them. My dad was big into building hot rods and racing in his day so I guess it carried down to the next generation. Over this past Summer, my Dad & I did a frame-on restoration of a Hugger Orange 1969 Camaro Z/28. It has a 350 4-bolt main in it bored .40 over and built up with all the goodies to make 405 hp & 421 ft lbs. on the dyno. I'll try and post some pics soon. As for my own car, I had a 1997 Mitsubishi Eclipse (SOLD 10/03) that had alot of money invested in it but I realized that Domestics are my roots so that is what I am going back to. I'm currently negotiating on a 2000 Camaro Z28 that has 391hp to the rear wheels...hopefully it works out. Please don't bash me for being a kid, or for having had a "ricer," because one, I can pull my own weight when it comes to cars and two, I never had that famous riceboy attitude.
Some of the cars my dad built/had were: '33 Chevy 5W Coupe w/ a souped-up 327, '51 Chevy w/ a 327, '61 Vette, '64 Vette, '66 GTO w/ a 389 & 3-2's, '70 Chevelle LS6 (bought brand new), '64 Pontiac LeMans sleeper w/ a Chevy 454, '30 Ford 5W Coupe w/ a 327 also. There are more I just can't remember them all.
