Hello I'm relatively new to the forum but have suffered for 40 years (since age 16) from a serious addiction to hot rodding with a strong preference for GM engines, particularly the LS series, and an inability to leave any engine or car stock for very long.
I currently own a 02 ZO6 with a C5R-based 427 built by Charlie Hempfield Racing, running a fairly mild cam aimed at low end torque, and a Procharger D1SC with only 5 lbs of boost at the moment - right at 600 RWHP with very docile street manners. Also have a great interest and some money "invested" (i.e., throw away) in a very anti-social, difficult-to-drive 98 Z28 my son has running an FE 408 with AFR heads and big nitrous and a locker rear axle.
Also own a stock 2004 Porsche Carrera which is my daily driver and grocery getter (its actually a very nice car, just devoid of low-end torque).
I am mostly interested in the technical side of the engines and chassis set up.

I've never owned a car that had enough HP. Owned several that had too much money in them. But never enough HP.
