my first ls1

hi, i have been reading posts on this site for a long time, f-bodies are my passion. i have a 95 v6, but i just purchased a 2000ss from tight2000ss. its a blast to drive and so much better than my 3.4 v6!

thanks, i plan on sticking with ls1's for good as long as gas is under #3.00 a gallon. they are awesome cars with nearly unlimited potential

Welcome to the club! I too am a fellow V6er. My mom wouldn't let me have a V8, but I had a Z pretty soon after I moved out.

most of my friends have v8 f-bodies and i always had a slower car, its about time to be able to keep up with them. my sisters boyfriend has a 99ss and he really likes it. now he wants my sister to buy an ss. i cant blame him though, these are great cars.

Welcome.
I also had a 3.4L 95 camaro first, but i think i had it for about 2 months before i added the z28... there is no comparison.
You're gonna have a lot of fun with it, I'm sure.
