Hi All..
. I am building (from scratch) an all new aluminum Airboat with a LS1 engine. I will be welding up the hull this winter. Everything is lightweight aluminum, so I figured, why put a heavy cast iron cylinder and head engine on it? The Airboat people keep saying how much better it is with saving 75 lbs. with aluminum heads. I figured I would use newer technology (get away from carburators with chokes) and even save more weight from hanging up off the hull. I just bought a LS1 long block and am looking for some parts for it. I can't wait to start on this project.--Bruce
