Default Ice Breaker

New to the forums. Was recommended by a friend at work. Working on building up an 86' Iroc. Just wanted to "break the ice" and say hello. Now Im gonna find out what category I should be posting in for good advice on a 383 build up. But any advice posted here will be much appreciated.

Probably not..., as much as Id like to. I was thinking of going carburated..., simply because its easier...cheaper...and as far as I know...more powerful. If I wanted to stroke an ls1..., gonna have to dish out the money for an LS1 and then go through all the trouble to stroke it. Also...my R4700 that I just had rebuilt wouldnt be compatible with the LS1. Im in the very early stages of my project. Havent even gotten the block to build up yet. Thats why Im here..., for guidance and advice from knowledable people that have been there..., and done that. But yes...the thought has crossed my mind. Think Im going carb. though.
