New from TX Hey all.
I currently drive an import...
I know, I know. I am looking into purchasing the 2006 Impala SS 5.3L, analyzing the sideways setup of the V-8. Heard this was the best site for the best information. Use to have an '80 Silverado. Sold it before moving back to TX from Cali (military). Should have never done that. Hind sight is 20/20, I guess. Own an '04 Jeep grand cherokee also. Been a pretty good purchase for my wife. Looking to get back into a daily driver with 
HP options. Imports are pretty expensive for the amount of HP that can be added. Wish me luck on the re-transition.
