Finally Registered What's up? My name is Rob and I live in southeast Michigan. I've learned a lot from reading the posts in here - many thanks for that. However, without too much to add, I just put off registering until now. I bought my '99 SS new, and it will be out from underneath the extended warranty this summer. Therefore, it will finally be time to start the real journey. She's got about 54,000 miles and is completely stock except for the basic intake stuff. I'm hoping to do exhaust this year, and then work into an ATI Procharger setup next year. I'm sure I'll be asking some repeat questions, but advice will be what I need. I can't wait to get started.
You want to hear something funny? My winter beater is a 91 Mustang. I know what your thinking, but it's actually a 2.3L (4cyl with the 8 spark plug fun setup). I've got 190,000 miles on the stock engine! I wonder if Ford will buy it back just to have a look
. Anyway, it is on it's last leg so I'll be replacing it with some sort of a gas sipper this fall. In the meantime (and since the weather here is finally permitting), it's time to go back to being an active participant in my driving experience!
