Howdy Hi, I'm from virginia. I don't own a vette, bird, or camaro. I do own a non-turbo '98 3000GT, which is my daily driver. I'm currently about to buy a project car and swap in a LS6. The car will be another 3000GT (I just love the way they look, especially the year I have right now) and the plan is to put an LS6 in there. And once it's running right, maybe put a supercharger or twin turbo setup on it. The thing that's gonna set this car out from the rest though (and probably have people call me insane), is the fact that I'm going for a mid-engine rwd setup. Needless to say, making this car is going to take a hell of a lot of work and just as much time. I got a couple buddies that are willing to help me out and between us we have all the tools/skills we'll need to do this.
I wager for the most part I'll just be a lurker unless I need some help, I'll try to post pics of my progress as well if you all would like as well. And for my newb question, where would be a good place to find an LS6 with a complete wiring harness/ecu/etc.? I'm not looking for a brand spankin' new one, just one that runs good. I was thinking about looking at some junkyards to see what they have. Also about how much would something like that cost? I don't have the money available right now for an engine since I'm buying the car the engine is going to go into soon, but I would like to have an idea. Thanks.

Welcome to the site. Scroll down to the bottom of this forum to the parts for sale section, also check out the convertion and hybrid section. Also what ever the shape of the engine if you plan on a turbo or a blower put some forged rods/pistons in while the moters out. Good luck with the project post up some pic's whwen you got em.
