Welcome.

I grew up in Mt. Ephraim and lived in Medford for a few years. I live in PA now but I'm always in NJ. Check out a little car club in NJ www.njfboa.org

...and **** north jersey. Nothing like having a bunch of wanna-be new yorkers living in cramped, trash filled streets

Default Born & raised in NJ

Welcome Shatterz!

Y'all are making me miss my old homestead. Let's see...

Born at Our Lady Of Lords Hospital in Camden in 1957, grew up in Westmont, lived in Collingswood, Williamstown, Turnersville, back to Westmont, on to Marlton (Kings Grant), then down here to the warm climes of Texas. Spent a lot of time at the South Jersey shore and in recent years every summer in SEASIDE!! What a great party town that was/is! Bars on the boardwalk, bars outside the condo, it was great! Used to go to the thrill shows at Atco Dragway after the NHRA top ranks stopped running there. Watched Benny the Bomb sit on a box and then watch it blow up. That was some funny ****.

Sorry to Hijack your thread Shatterz, but I just wanted to mention one more thing...

Since moving down here to the Dallas area, I've met quite a few New Jerseyans. The funny thing is, most of them come from North Jersey, and with very few exceptions, they all seem to have these odd deformities. Like extra fingers, one eye looking out into space, dark circles under their eyes, weird **** like that. Must be the toxic waste dumps up there, ya know?

Tom's River is in south jersey, funny guy.

Toxic waste in north jersey is nothing compared to what they've found in south jersey so far. Pick something else to make fun of, like overcrowding or traffic or something. You guys have us as far as murder rate (Camden) and toxic waste (Tom's River)

You're kidding me, right?

Trenton is the middle borderline of New Jersey. Anything north of Trenton is North Jersey, south of Trenton is South Jersey. There is no "middle Jersey"

Ex:

So if you truly believe that Tom's River is in North Jersey, that also means that Asbury Park is in North Jersey also, since they're North of Tom's River. Asbury Park is like the god damn capital of South Jersey.

Please exit the thread now.

They don't say it because they're embarassed.

There's not central jersey IMO. Jersey isn't big enough to be split into threes.

Default Central Jersey?

Actually, IIRC we used to refer to the area between Trenton and somewhere around Edison as Central NJ.

Irregardless, Toms River isn't the only place where there are/were toxic dumps. And as far as crime? In South Jersey, they managed to pack all the criminals into one city. In the north, where crime is spread out over numerous cities, they haven't perfected that process yet.

Now that IS funny!! I can't believe we're arguing over all of this. Personally, I can't wait to get out of this whole area! The Tejas Hill Country outside of Austin is lookin' mighty fine right about now. The live music scene there can't be beat, and the area is beautiful. The only thing is there are even more MKIV s and owners there I would have to put up with.
