my first LS1

My name is John. I've been on this page before but since I bought my first LS1 about 4 weeks ago I decided I should become a member. I have been a member of z28.com for a while. I am not new to the f-body sceen. My first Camaro was a 96 V6 that I traded for a 96 Trans Am. I only did a couple bolt-ons to my 96 TA. I took a break from the f-body and then ended up getting a great deal on a 94 Z28 that I got down to 13.12 @ 107mph w/ a 100 shot of nitrous. My new ride is a 02 Z28 that has not been modified. Now that I own this I wish I had bought a LS1 a long time ago. I plan to begin modding soon to get it down in the 12s.

I'm a member of z28 too..anway a lt1 with a 100shot and mods should be in the 12's easy.

Most people get the full exhaust and mild cam and easy 12's. Good luck and welcome

Thanks everyone. Coolformula...I figured I could get in the 12s but I was running on fairly hard street tires and ended up selling it before I had a chance to run w/ traction. Won't happen to this ride though. It'll definitely be running 12s and maybe faster depending on what I want to spend.
