Honestly,they're both great cars.The 02 is definately way faster if they're both stock,but the 91 is pretty quick with whats been done to it(still not as fast as the 02)and has meaner sound to it than the 02.Over on semca there's a guy with a 84 camaro with a 305 pushing 11's I was reading,so I think there's potential in those motors.The 91 seems to bite into corners a little better but not much more than the 02.(could be the STB & SFC'S though.)IMO they both have a rougher rode than most other cars but that really doesn't bother me as I've had 4 or 5 f-bodys over the last 16 years and i guess I'm used to it.(I like them all.)The 91 seems stiffer because of the connectors,but it still has some creaks and noises compared to the 02,theres a 11 year & 57k mile difference too.The new one brakes better .The 02 interior seems to have less room up front and T-tops look smaller .I like the way the tops stored in the 02 compared to the 91.The stock stereo in the 02 is pretty damn good for stock,the 91's wasn't that great before i changed it.IMO, the 91 looks faster standing still.The fit and finish is definitely better in the newer one.They are both good performers for the money you'll pay for them and they'll both probably be money pits depending on how far you take the modding.Overall the 02 is the better of the two,but in my heart,the 91-92 Camaro & Firebird are still my favorites.(I like how low appearing they are.)Hope this helps you but remember these are just my personal opinions.
