Default Any Bolt ons!

I am 17 and i have a 2000 FireBird Trans Am with the Ls1 4 speed auto and only 12xxx mi, and i am wondering what bolt ons will give me the most amount of power, and what brands, i dont care about the price that doesnt matter, i just want to build up the engine. I have been to tracks, and it does 4.9seconds 0-60 on slicks, and about a top speed of about 160s. The car is all stock. Any ideas?

"is yur car a daily driver, a track car?" The car is My weekend/Track Car, never seen snow/rain/bad weather

whats up man. for starters, read the stickies. they will help you in the right direction. is yur car a daily driver, a track car? whats yur goals. you can start off by getting the basic bolt ons like an air lid, longtube headers, catback exhaust, pulleys, gears...etc..etc..

ya well what do you have A4 or M6? and bolt on wise lid, filter, ported TB, ls6 intake, LT headers and exaust that gets more air in the motor and gets more air out which = more power. then you move onto heads and cam, or if your an auto get a TC ( torque converter) and some 3.73 gears, or M6 you will prob need to get an aftermarket clutch setup but im not really for sure i have an A4. but with the normal bolt ons you wil be round 370-385rwhp with an A4. With cam and heads well your talking right at 500 horses depending on how large of a combo you go with and how well they work with each other. but hope this help some.. its a start.

Just like TXZ28LS1 and bjamick said. Get your bolt ons done first, then you can look into building up the rest of the engine. Just dont forget about your rear end and suspension. Good luck.

heres a few effective mods that wont set your wallet back too much right away...

Intake: air lid, air filter, smooth bellow or a fernco (any air lid, k&n filter)
Exhaust: longtube headers, catback (for both of these you gotta search for whatever you like best)
Transmission: stall converter (3200-3500 would prolly be good for you, tci is good brand to go with if you're on a budget)
Rear End: 3:73 gears are a good gear for an A4 (ex. Richmond 3:73's)

start off small and dont jump into things.. do your research before buying/installing an aftermarket peice.. other than that, welcome aboard and good luck
