new to posting Well I am not new to reading your site, I am new however to posting and registering. Been reading for awhile now. I felt like I may as well register and become a member rather than a looky-loo. 
As far as a LS1 I drive... that still has yet to reach my driveway, been looking for about a year now, and I start to feel I will have to ship one up from the states to get exactly what I want. Alaska has some great cars, just not the pool to dip in like the lower 48.
I have been born and raised into turning wrenches on sports cars and muscle cars. My folks have owned many camaros and vettes including a ZR1 and soon to be a c6 zo6 next fall. My first sports car was an IROC camaro built for scca autocrossing while I drove my truck around town for snowy purposes
My current project is a rare optioned 69 roadrunner (bank account in a garage) hence why I want an 00-02 ws6 or camaro ss to drive into work and at the strip, first started looking for a firehawk but I think I would be just as happy with the sweetness of the ws6 or ss.
