Hello all! How's it going? As you can see, this is my first post at ls1tech... This doesn't mean that I'm a stranger of ls1tech. I've lurked this place for ~2 months now.
I know by coming to ls1tech, it's assumed that you have an LS1. Unfortunately, I do not. :-( I really want an M6 LS1 T/A. In fact, I've wanted it for a good 7-8 months now. Actually, I really want one. When I'm cruising with my '03 Neon SXT ("true cruising" is hard to do without t-tops or convertible), I make the "V8 grumble" at idle and do the "V8 scream" when I'm on the highway/shifting gears. But when I say I really want one, I mean it. Just look at the desk at my job.
Even my desktop has a T/A on it!
So yeah, that should show how much I want one.
I'm a freshman in college right now... My dad says if I get straight A's this year, he'll help me get a new car. Unfortunately, we'll probably ending up going to an auction, since T/A's would be cheaper there. Also, if I want to get a T/A, I want to get the exact one I want. M6, WS6, and t-tops... Don't all Trans Ams come with t-tops...? Anyway, long shot, but I'm hoping the price will somewhat decrease between now and summer, even though I'm pretty sure it won't. Around here decent M6 LS1's go for ~$13,000. So yeah, I need to save up. Or if anyone wants to sell their WS6 around summer...?
Nah, I think I want mine stock. 
This is super long for an introductory post, so I'll just end it with a happy Asian giving the peace sign.

Good luck on getting the car you want. If you save a bit and keep looking I'm sure you will find what you want. At one time I wanted the same thing you are looking for. I wanted a TA WS6 M6 as close to stock as possible with lower mileage for a good price. After about 6 to 8 months I found what I was looking for. Got a 2000 WS6 M6 with 26000 miles on it the only mod was a flowmaster exhaust and skip shift eliminator for $15k. Happy day when that arrived. I live in NY and had to have it shipped from CA but I found it and if you know northeast cars you know salt and rust. My car has none clean as can be thanks to the california sunshine. So hopefully my story keeps your faith alive. Good Luck!
