newbie with a carb. hello to all! Just came across this site in the way early am while researching my potential new project (it's what I do when I can't sleep). Looks like a really cool site with a lot of great info and entertainment. I am of course new to this site, but nowhere new to the world of f-body performance as I have owned five f-bodies including a heavily modded '89 IROC that could regularly pull down high 8's in a 1/4 mile. My current Camaro is a 1979 t-top 350 car most likley capable of low 13's (I no longer live very close to a track), and am looking into putting together another third-gen with a ls1 this time. Which brings me to my first question; does anyone know any good websites or companies to get complete ls1 engines from? I haven't got time yet to dig through all the forums yet so I may have not seen the topic yet. It was actually this search that deposited me here. Great site guys, looking forward to reading a lot.
