Some pictures.

The first one is how it looked like when I buy it

No 2 is after the first mods, Air Ride and TTII's, note the center of the wheels is not blocked off, and it have the original ligths in the front...

No 3 Is how it look's now, with Willwod brakes all around...

hehe alright i will do this in english then..so kjell i was just wondering, how is it possible to take in an american car on grunnlag that its stock from the manufacturer..when the car has red taillights and needs to be orange?
I remember my friend tried to take in an eclipse gsx that was modified and he went trough a whole bunch of **** with the ******** at Biltilsynet.
He finally got it Godkjent, but that was after he made it back to completely stock.

Oh and arent the car taxes raised after 1 jan?
Does anyone make euro spec taillights for ls1's?

Yes, they are out there and fit both LT1 and LS1 (same size). I don't know who makes them though. I assumed GM made them. They sometimes appear on ebay.

I've seen some importers use one set of legal lights and then just switch them from one car to the other to get them legal and then put the originals back on.

From what I read, the Euro spec Camaros used the same taillights as US specs. Japan spec cars on the other hand use a different set of taillight. Someone in the classified sells them from time to time, but they sell for about $500, and are sold as soon as he posts them.

I don't think anybody in US is ready to pay Norwegian taxes, so I think the only marked I can sell this car is in Norway. You can have a brand new 06 Z06 Corvette in Usa, for what I'm asking... The choice is easy 95 T/A or 06 Z06 ??? Z06 for me please.......

Yes it is possible, but you need european ligths, and the car have to be stock, then it is no problem, but check with AMCAR.no if you still can import a car as "flyttegods" with red lights as original, but paying taxes as usual.. I'm sure they will help you with all the questions you may have...

And yes, the taxes go up again January 1st 2007, I live in Hell for my hobby...

Find a nice Pro Touring 69 Camaro or simmular, and I'll trade the T/A for it when you come back to Norway... You know "30 års regelen" anything goes through , taxfree only 25% VAT...And also find a shabby 98 or newer T/A take it back home and rebuild the 95 to 98 or newer.....

I have purchased a set of US tailights (all red), the problem is that on the Euro the flashlight is separate, and on the US model the flashlight work's combined with the brakelight's, does anybody knows how solve this problem... I think maybe the relay in the swith is different on those two models ????

That rear bumper is badass. I love Formula rear bumpers for some reason. Thats how the TA rear bumper SHOULD have looked in the US! With the high rise spoiler, that would be one slick looking *** end.

Great looking car!

I'm come from a small city up in *North of Norway, so I have to drive abt. 700 miles for the "first" track in Sweden, this summer I drive 1375 miles one way to drive on the "Gardermoen Racway" outside Oslo

We are small group who are into these american cars and we race whenever we have a chance, and we go around on different car meetings and tracks in Norway, Sweden and Finland, it's alot of fun, and very sosial , you always meet new people who you never would have meet if you was not into these things.

My friends home have: 69 Firebird LS1 4L60E, 72 Camaro SS 350 L98 TPI, and 98 Corvette Lingenfelter(not a F-Body but still on the list, pict. on page 2) , 29 Ford Hot Rod, some Caddilac's etc.

From a Cruise in Lillehammer Norway

Ready for the first burnout on AMCAR Gardermoen Raceway

Cruising in Oslo, you can see the King's castle down the street..

On our way to Lillehammer

Waiting for the cruising to start at Hunderfossen

Waiting for the race to begin...
