New here/ First time LS1 owner

New here/ First time LS1 owner Well I figured I would introduce myself. The name is Jon and I just picked up my first LS1 car. Car is a 98 trans am, fairly high miles, but to be expected for a ten year old car. Body is in good shape and paint is about a ten footer at the moment. The car was actually my friends and I had been dying to get ahold of a ls1 trans am for sometime. Finally scrapped together enough cash and got what I wanted. Now I just have to make sure it doesn't get door dinged to death at the local college parking lot. Anyone know how rare this color is? It is a green with a pearl blue. My buddy said the previous owner told him it was called chameleon, whatever it is I have never seen another f-body with this particular paint scheme. Car currently has SLP long tubes, slp y pipe, magnaflow catback, and 3.73's. I have to keep telling myself not to mod it to death. But I figured an LS6 intake, ported throttle body, and some subframes would be a nice start to my ownership of the vehicle.

Welcome and congrats on your LS1 purchase! Looks good from those pics. That color is called "Blue-Green Chameleon." It' s not "rare" persay, but definitely less common than others. I love that damn color!
