windage tray problems

windage tray problems i was trying to put a 99 camaro ls1 oil pan on a 99 vette ls1 motor, but i ran into some problem. it seems the windage tray on the motor is hitting the oil pan on the front side. does any body know if the windage trays are the same from a camaro to a vette. thanxs

I believe the Vette and F-body motors do use different windage trays. I have a book somewhere that would tell me, but I' d have to look it up. I' m sure someone could better answer your question in one of the tech forums or possibly General LSX.
