hi, I have an 85 vett that has been sitting in the garage now for about a year due to multiple problems with keeping it running. I have got a lot of reading ahead to learn about what to swap into it. I also have a 2000 cougar which is a daily driver that has been modded with I/H/E and SVT UIM and TB lower 3 inches. I know the cougar platform and alot of imports but Im completely new with LS1's.

No I don't have an f-body but from what my friends have told me this is the site I need to check out to learn what all is going to have to be done for the motor swap in the vett. Between all of my friends I have gotten to ride in a wide range of cars.

my plan is to learn as much as I can and get this swap out of the way and the rest is down hill. cosmetics and audio are no problem along with suspension.
