Yeah high horsepower mowers are nice, until you run over the kids, kill the neighboors and slice the pavment in half because you were too dumb to lift the fan blades (boy thats one day I'll never live down.....).
Work out the kinks and they're great though. Lightweight means great handiling and a sub-pound per horse ratio means you kill everything: Vipers, ZO6s, Space shuttles, 4 second Quad Turbo Supras - whatever. The cops of course will be all over you and you better have super-duper flat pavement where you live, cause one bump with no suspension @ 150+ mph means chunky salsa for sure! I've lost too many good friends that way...
