I am currently in Atlantic City, NJ near where I just had a nice 98 Trans Am signed into my name ! My girlfriend and I rolled in on the train this morning. We are from SE Michigan.
Here is a teaser, from the previous owner.

I previously had an 87 El Camino with a 383 SBC I built. I had AFR heads, solid roller cam, 750 carb, reverse manual TH400 and so on... That car was a lot of fun and ran a best of 11.70@117 but after the thing came apart a few times, I wanted something more comfortable.
I have to say, the LS1 isn't slow. Mine has headers, lid and is a M6
Very fun to drive, esp the first time I burned 1st, slammed it sideways into 2nd and chirped 3rd. Needless to say, my girlfriend was a little moist from the run.![Grin](https://ls1tech.com/forums/images/smilies/LS1Tech/gr_grin.gif)
So expect to see me around, it'll be a journey as I go for the goal of being quicker than my ugly, faded, no A/c having muscle car of years past.

Good Looking car! I'll be on the lookout for you guys around. I'm only 6 minutes from Atlantic City. Where exactly are you guys from? If you go to the eastern section here or to NJFBOA.org there are alot of us from Atlantic County! BTW the 98's weren't even the fastest LS1's but once you go heads/cam its a pretty fair game. Any questions about these cars feel free to message me. I have owned 11 4th gens so far
4 of them were LS1's
