and you have already gone through a few trannys and motor rebuilts......so that probably would have been enough for a good ls1, insurance isnt as high as you think.......compared to your car thats one of the top stolen vechiles in america

I was at Hardinsburg when that white talon raced that 66 Nova in primer and the talon broke. That was priceless. Where do you guys do all this street racing I gotta see some of this. I'm not too far from you. What times does that talon run at the track?

i went to casey county twice 1st time my car was there and it was all good... 2nd time i rode with a buddy and i was drunk when the cops showed up, but they didnt take my buddys liscense.... somehow they skipped us so we hightailed it passed the courthouse when everyone was pullin in... crazy though, had to open courthouse on a sunday and deal with 60-70 drivers lol

As far as the talons, if I had a dime for everytime somebody says that (what times they run), I would have the fastest Talon ever!! hah! but for real, they only race that car for money and are very secreative about the times, understandably...

Your right man, i never said it had to be street legal, I was just curious if it was, that doesnt mean they wont race ya. I told them it was somebody from this site and he said they talked to yall not too long ago and you were suppose to meet them in lexington the other weekend, was that you or someone else of here???
someone else....if they want this, they gotta come this way or catch me at clay city with it, i'll only street it up this way, track only if i travel, no home court advantage on their side.

haha! niiiice. i dont think ive ever seen any import go that quick. hell most of them cant even pull a 6.xx in the 1/8 lol. i went up to indy import and truck bash this year, and man was it a joke lol. ricers bangin the rev limiter in 1,2, and 3 and spinnin thier street tires the whole time lol. i did see a quick pro scion, but there was nothing that impressed me really otherwise.

I will be the 1st to admit, 90% of imports are not fast, I dont go around bashin on domestics or whatever just because I own a honda, I know in most cases it takes a lot more time and money to make a import go fast, and most people that try dont do too well a job.
