Newb from Alaska
I've been looking on here for a while and decided to join. If there is anyone else up here that would like like to get together and hang out with a few other f-body owners let me know. I plan on getting a group of us together and hitting a few car shows.

Thanks. There are a couple of us that crash the car shows because I grew up around most of the people there, but alot of people hate our "new" cars being at the shows. I lock my car away for the winters in my heated garage. It'll never be driven in the winters.
jmill. I meet you at the last weekend of the drag races with lookout and plummer. U get that new cage yet? Going for 9's this year?
Midnight. What car do you have? The guy that use to own my car lived in Wasilla.

Sounds good. Let me know. I plan on trying to drive my car out to the track this summer. I still don't know if I'll run it again yet. I don't have that many miles on the LS7 clutch plummer and I installed late last summer. I have to get some new tires before I put any miles on it. But I'm still not sure which street tires to get yet. Do you remember Armstrong over in finance with his black 2002 SS camaro? I went to the sema show and stayed with him in vegas. His car is now has a turbo and is 550 rwhp at 4,000 ft and 114 degrees on a mild tune and pump gas. I told him I wanted to bring it back up here and see what it'll really do since it's still a street car and looks stock.

How u guys been? I did make it to sema with Armstrong. His camaro got the turbo. Heres the dyno video. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=DR4c6qz80GA. It's listed uner sts turbo camaro, titled dyno run. I didn't get time to put a gtg together. I lost a friend a few weeks before I left. But sema was fun. I need to get in gear and start getting things together for the bird this summer. No real mods yet.

So far just an Ls7 clutch, and new tires. Also got one cat warrentied. I'd like to get headers and a procharger supercharger. But it'll have to wait for now. I had to help a close friend out financially. So I have to repay myself first. After going for a spin in another friends 02 SS with a turbo and 564 rwhp on pump gas I'm addicted to boost. Your 78 has the 6.6 and SE package?

No the '78 firebird came from the factory with a small block chevy 350. Matching numbers and everything. Now it's got a shorter stroke and been bored, so its a 332. Also has a 700R4 built by Top Jimmy performance in the valley, and he also redid the rear end with 4.10 gears. Interior has been rehabed, and put some autometer gauges in there to replace all the old stuff. It's a hella fun car, but right now im in Virginia for the navy and the car is in pieces under my parents deck in palmer. It's got fiberglass fenders and hood on it right now, but im thinking about ditching that for steel fenders. Maybe you'll see it on the road sometime next year.
