Welcome to the site. That is a nice 69 you got there. I'm currently restoring one, I hope mine turns out as nice as yours when I get done. Can you post up some more pics and some info on what all has been done too it?
Man...Thanks for all the nice comments guys! I do really enjoy the car and cant wait for spring to come. First the paint code on the car is Viper Graphite grey with reflex silver stripes. It took me forever to decide on the color and I finally found one that I really dig. The car is mainly a street car that has hit the strip twice since I got it done last year. With no tuning at all its ran a 12.04 at 112.3 with a 1.68 60 foot. The 1/8 mile was 7.65 at 89.8 mph. I would really like to do the Hotrod Powertour with it within the next couple of years. Here is some basic specs on it:
408 sbc
AFR 195 heads
10 to 1 Forged Probe pistons
Scat crank/rods....arp bolts
Performer RPM air gap intake
1" open spacer
Holley 750 vac sec
Comp XS274S solid flat tappet......274/280...236/242...534/544...110
1 5/8" longtubes
2.5" mandrel x pipe.....40 series delta flows.....2.5" mandrel tails
TH400...."tight" 10" 3200 stall
GV overdrive
Currie 9"....31 spline.....3.55 posi
Street tires are 18" Torque Thrust 2's with BFG KD rubber. Track is Weld's with skinnys and 275/50/15 BFG DR's out back.
