URGENT Help Needed Okay, I couldn't determine where to post this and I really need some quick help.
A good friend of mine is working w/ a company that has a lot of defense contracts etc. He's currently in Iraq and just called and left me a voice mail.
He's traveling in a Trailblazer (he didn't specify, I'd assume just an I6) and just came through a few shady situations. All of the sudden all of the dash instruments except the gas gauge stopped working, and the motor started knocking and missing badly.
Please, if anybody has some advice for things he can check or look into in the field with limited tools post them up. This could be a very serious situation.

sounds like either caught a bullet...more likely ran through a lake and got the ignition wet, its common, once it dries it should be back to normal. i know its a late response I hope he got it fixed.
