Hello from Fort Myers Fl. Long time lurker frist time poster. Just wanted to say hello and thank you to everone for the information on this site and a special thanks to jrp for the FAQ pages and to camarozstyle for posting about the ls6 long block. Just put it in to replace the org. ls1 in my 01 ss convertible. The ls1 started knocking 3 months after I bought it. Spun connecting rod bearings poss. caused by a cut I found in pick up tube o-ring on disassemble causing airation of oil. So anyway the ls6 is in and runs great on factory tune. Had to do ls6 pcv mod but it was simple. Luckly I purchased an aftermarket warranty when I bought the car in jan. 08. Only cost me the 100.00 deductible. The new long block ls6 was cheaper than the used ls1 they wanted me to put in and I get to keep the old ls1. Just put it on craigslist in fort myers. Well if that sells I can get rid of the rattling flowmaster muffler that came on the car when I bought it. Thanks again everone.
Hey whats up? I'm about to move to Ft. Myers at the end of summer actually Lehigh Acres. I don't know if I'm going to bring my car down with me or leave it here in Ohio. Hopefully I can meet some fellow f-body enthusiasts in the area.

Thank you everone. Sorry fortmyerspolice I do not think I have. I have seen a few f-bodies running around but only one silver ss no strips. Hey bcbosley I live in Lehigh and work in Ft myers. It is an okay place to live just getting more people every day. mphmotorsports thank you alos when I get more funds I'll have to check you out. camaroz28ss where i live in lehigh it's not that far from naples. Sorry fortmyerspolice just realized you have a ws6 not camaro. Still do not think I have seen it yet.
