Newbie looking for some advice... Hey everyone! I recently purchased a 2000 Z28 with a couple mods: SLP Cold-air induction and a minor computer tune(raised redline 500rpm, eliminated skip-shift feature, etc.). So, not much done to it. My question I guess would be where to start with mods, i.e. what are a few quick and easy mods that will put me a little above the rest...thanx in advance for everyone's help!

i would say step one dont listen to brandontron step two search read search read search read search read search read...then post lol. theres ALOT of stuff on here and most of us are a great group! LS1tech is the best place to be with an lsx car.

Thanx. I've been searching and reading a lot. So far, it sounds like I'm going to destroy my drivetrain by doing hardly anything to the motor! Yes, it's an M6 with a new stock clutch. This being the first Chevy I've owned, it's been all Mustangs up to this point, I'm trying to feel my way through this without blowing the car to pieces!

well the only one i had "blow up" the automatic one i had in a '90 LX 5.0....not a big fan of those. so, i am now tired of ford and have moved on and so far i'm impressed and now it's time to start adding a few hp!
