new to the forum sup everyone i'm Dave, i've been trying to fight the domestic darkside but i can't deny the fact that they're just better any longer lol my 71 240z will be getting an LS something, and there's a lot of good info/peeps on this forum so i figured i'd register
i hadn't yet retorqued the arp head bolts, i believe i was lifting the head, hence the dip around 5200. but anywho
i recently sold my rb25'd (skyline motor) 78 datsun 280z to a buddy of mine. and at the moment i'm building a 600hp 72 datsun 510 (2000lb rwd tissue box of doom) which my goal is to see 9's with a 5 speed. while i'm waiting for the cage and other various fab work that i'm not great at to get finished i'm researching american v8's a bit more.
i just finished wiring an 06 gto ls2 for a friend of mine and the more i mess with it and learn about it, the more i like it.
so anyways, thx for having me, here's some vids i made with my 280z
here's giving a 436hp supercharged foxbody stang a car length head start, the Z had 391hp at the time

the vid says gt30/71r but it was really a gt30/76r. i didn't notice that till later but too late. lol@ the music, it was an inside joke. that was on pep boys s-rated 245/60/14's with a 3.9 open diff...2.1 60' ftl >_< got traction?
then i got tired of the yellow and primer so i primed the whole thing

o3 zo6 (470rwhp) and for the record that evo ran 11.6's i think it was round 380rwhp
