Now the big headache for me is the instrument integration from a GM engine and tranny to a LEXUS body and cluster... A Stand Alone ECU will help matters some, but some creativity will need to be done...One wire at a time basically until everything works properly... Your Chevy to Chevy electrical should wire up more easily...
Throttle cable hookup, brake booster hookup, intake, all can be done easily.. These are the basics I have covered and your proposed swap should be easier then mine..
Your main concerns is the drivetrain in an S10 being able to handle much greater power provided by the LS1 engine... Rearend, axles, tranny, driveshaft, etc.. You need research where this swap done before, that is my best suggestion to you... I am unforunately on my own with my swap as it just hasn't been done before as far as I can see....
Good luck and go for it if you have some mechanical experience and a big set of webbos and some spending money to spare.. This should run you atleast $5,000 would be my best guess.. There are always unexpected suprises too....
