car build date??

car build date?? iv looked for 2 days i cant find the thread from a guy that works for GM and PMs people info about their cars based of the VIN. can someone help me find it? and why does the search on here not really help?

The guy you are referring to asked to have the thread removed, because he no longer has time to provide the service.
But, all is not lost....
Here is a link that will give you most of the same info, including build dates and options:

If, for some reason, your VIN doesn't show up there, all you have to do is go to a GM dealer and ask for the VIS printout for your VIN.
