OK, here's my story with them. I ordered my Stage 4 no core needed transmission ($1950) from sixspeeds inc in the beginning of JUNE (june 3rd to be exact). I called them that day and they said the wait time was around 8 weeks. Well, 8 weeks passed and still no transmission so i called them asking for a status on the order, and let me note, never once did I act impatient or angry over the phone. The second time i talked to them on the phone they told me that they were just waiting for a core to come come in and my name was next on the list for that core and they told me it would be another 2 weeks. Two weeks passed and I called them again asking for a status, they told me they had gotten a few cores in and i should have my transmission by the next week. The next week I called and asked for another status, they said we are waiting on cores again, i told them they said last time they had gotten some in, and they said not all cores are F body cores, some are viper, gto, etc. anyways i asked them how much longer and they said 2 more weeks. another 2 weeks passed and still no trasmission so i called again for another status. This time they said "we have a core coming in from New York and this one will be yours, give us until the end of the week". Well i waited the entire next week for the transmission to show up and it didnt, called them yet again and they said that transmission was too messed up or something and said it would be another 2 weeks. Well, i ended up cancelling the order about 4 weeks ago because i found a transmission from somewhere else and i still havent gotten my money back. i have called them a couple of times and they said that since i ordered the transmission through their website, it would be 30-40 days before i got my money back (seems weird to me?), or to speed things up i can call my bank and fill out some form. i even asked them if they could just simply write me a check and they said they can't. A few friends of mine saw them down in memphis at the LSX shootout and they won some money and a LSX block. Anyhow, the bank said that since the transaction took place over 60 days ago, they can't do anything. anyways, here i am, still out $1950 since JUNE 3rd, waiting.

 

If it'son a credit card and you did not receive the goods orderes, the bank HAS to refund the credit card....they will tell you no...but the Merchant bank that underwrote the business for 6 speed HAS to refund the money....banks don't "like" to do it to other banks...but push them on it. 60 days is not a concern since it was an "ongoing" transaction....60 days is valid if you order a toaster and are stupid enough to wait over 60days without contacting the company you ordered it from after they billed the CC.

Six Speeds Inc
To those who don't know we have decided to close the shop,as stated in September business has gotten slow to those that have problems with whatever please call 832-488-0533. I would ask those that have problems to call the cell number and not post in this thread, as this is informational purposes only. We have not been hiding as some have said just busy trying to address some issues. If the number is busy please leave a message.
