FTI taking the "extra step" for me!

FTI taking the "extra step" for me! I ordered a custom converter for my LS/TH400 setup well over a year ago. I never even took it out of the box, as I have been chin deep in building my trans am. Finally, last week, we got to the home stretch of installing the converter and trans. When we did, I noticed the pilot on the converter was for the wrong motor. Worried it had been so long and they would not be willing to help, i thought even to mill down the mounting pads rather than even calling them.
Boy am I glad i called! I immediately was greeted with "we'll make it right, box it up and ship it back. AND we will ship it back out same day we get it".
I was blown away. I shipped it out Monday afternoon, and pm'd Greg@FTI on ls1tech to make sure he was aware of the situation. I called on Wednesday when it showed as arrived at FTI. I spoke to a different person at FTI, and she was also aware of my situation, and also confirmed with Greg it will go out same day. I know you guys dealing with race parts knows NOTHING ever goes quickly or on time, haha.
Suprising to me, bam, the converter shows back up on Friday after being shipped back out same day. They even included the installation bolts/nuts so I didnt have to go looking all over town. Top it off with Greg even sending a follow up PM just to make sure all went well on the install.
I just wanted to share my experience. If their product performs HALF as well as their customer service, I'll be grinning from ear to ear!

Being that I work for a trans shop I can see how this could be a simple mistake. We have had this issue the past and normally a quick call to the manufacture gets you back on track! Good to hear that Greg and crew at FTI were there for you when you needed them! Vince
