Default Speed Engineering

I'm probably another unhappy member of LS1Tech who has done buisness with Speed Engineering. On the 9th of November I purchased a FAST 102 for my LS1 and haven't seen a tracking number for nearly 2 1/2 - 3 weeks. I tried calling them but the number that was provided via my billing statement said that this number is no longer in service. I than asked for a number via email and nothing...I finally made the decision to have them refund my money if a tracking number wasn't provided this was Friday. I get an email today(Monday the 29th of Nov.) that the order was cancelled and im getting credited my money. Now Apperently there's 2-7 days until i recieve it according to Merchant services. The time in recieving my refund is understandable, but what i don't understand is why Speed Engineering dosen't have a phone number and how they can be quick to take my money but not provided a tracking number for a product i purchased for nearly 2 1/2 - 3 weeks. Needless to say Im truly unhappy with Speed Engineering, and their customer service, A word to the wise just because the price is low it may be to good to be true. For those of you out there looking at Speed Engineering for a FAST 102 be careful.

If your going to post negatively about us please included everything that happened in the transaction. The original reason this order was delayed was due to you having different shipping and billing addresses. We will only ship to the billing address on the card for protection to the card holder and us, which we informed you the same day in an email. You persisted to state you wanted it shipped to a different address that was UPS or Fed Ex. However your billing was a P.O. Box. After two weeks of going back and forth you stated the P.O. box was fine. We sent the order over to FAST to find out they will not ship to a P.O. box. You requested we refund your money, and it was done the same day. Merchant services is out of our control as far as wait time. The money was already deducted out of our account. It takes almost the same amount of time for us to receive your money as it does for you to receive it back.

We answer emails usually very quickly, and closed our phone lines a few years ago without any issues.

If we are doing something wrong here please let me know.

When I made the purchase I noted in your comment box that I have a PO Box and if it was going to be a problem. I also stated that if you can ship it to my physical address, and if you wanted to verify that address that I provided, you can check with my bank which they have noted as a secondary address. In one email you said if it was ok to ship to my PO Box I said it was, but I also said that in the past with other sponsor and other companies for that matter were they couldn’t ship to my PO Box. That I would request to the sponsor if it was possible to hold the item at the delivery companies will call office for pick up. They would go ahead with the request and it worked out. That’s why I asked. You told me sounds good and that the order was sent over but weren’t sure if you were getting a USPS tracking number. After waiting for 1 ½ to 2 weeks for a tracking number(any tracking number) and checking my PO Box, in addition all the main USPS offices they had nothing. I went ahead and called FAST and 3 out of the 3 representative said they don’t ship to PO Boxes only via UPS or Fed Ex and that they didn’t have the order in. That’s when I sent an email over to you and stated again that if it can be held at will call so it can save the trouble and if you can straighten this out. “We will only ship to the billing address on the card for protection to the card holder and us”… I understand that and I respect that but I haven’t had an issue with it being shipped to the will call office in the past again that’s why I asked.

What you can do is get a land line and provide a tracking number within a reasonable amount of time. After not receiving a tracking number for x amount of weeks and not being able to talk to someone about a big purchase like that makes one think that they’ve been had.

-We answered all of your question on a timely manner "Phones or not"
-Sent your order over as soon as you were ok with shipping to the P.O. Box
-Sent over invoicing and updated website emails
-Refunded your money the same day you requested

The only issue here is that FAST doesn't ship to a P.O. Box, which we were unaware of and refunded your money the same day the conclusion was made. I am sorry for any confusion there was, but to come on here and say we're a bad company to order from because of a honest mistake is not the right thing to do either.
