Default Tick Performance Experience!!!

Earlier last year they installed my Tick Master Cyl in my vette. It was my first time going to them and I was there for a while so I was given the tour of the entire shop. I am horrible with names but I remember Joey and Alvin. Alvin appears to be the type person that would help ANYONE regardless of whether or not you spent one dime with him. I think he is just in the same facility but I felt he spent a lot of time talking to me about tuning and appears to love what he does.

Back to my Tick experience. I had my already used master cyl. They quickly noticed a possible leak and without me even knowing it at the time just gave me a new one. (crap like that doesnt usually happen to me)

Sooo from the initial installer of my engine trans... of my 408 there was a problem with the trans couldnt shift hardly at all i mean no matter what I did anti venom mod, snap shifter, tick master cyl.... you would have to stop in the center between each gears... Being my first M6 vette i figured the trans was just the culprit. The problem got worse then there was vibrations like no other. I could tell it was from the clutch area.

I called around for a clutch replacment let me share some prices... this is for labor only.. doesnt include the slave....
Dealer 1400.00
Another shop 980.00
Another 780.00
you get me?

Tick who specializes in this stuff $480.00!!

If that wasnt enough I will say this tick found out why i couldnt hardly shift. No throw out bearing present at all. caused a lotta issues elsewhere in the drivetrain which cost a lot more. They did what they could on the final bill for me.... OKAY they went out of the way to help that out as much as possible. I will just say being in the business they are quite resourceful..

This is the kicker....
They saw two things that were potential problems that had NOTHING to do with the transmission and took care of it. Now THATS what really separates a money hungry shop from a shop that gives a rip.

This was just my TWO experiences with Tick.
I was happy with the prices
They definately stand behind their warranty because hell I didnt know the MC had a lifetime warranty i thought id have to buy another one.
Taking up time with a customer is probably nothing to these guys. Well at least for me it didnt appear that way.
I guess im happy because I have had my share of BAD services from shops.

When is a deal a GOOD deal? Has nothing to do with the trade or price....Its when you are happy with the deal..
