Am I overreacting?

Am I overreacting? First off I'm not putting any names out there just want to know if I am taking this wrong. Ok so I am in the middle of changing my heads again to work better with the cam installed. I measured my pushrods and placed an order for what I believed to be 7.50 rods. Well a few days later 7.475 rods arrive. I notice the problem immediately and get on the phone with the sponsor and tell them what had happened. whoevers fault at this point doesnt matter. So I take them and get them UPS sent back the same day I received them. Informed sponsor of such. Now all this happened on the 21st. Well my motor is apart waiting on these to get put back together. So after a few days of messaging I am informed they can not send out the new rods until the wrong ones are received back to them. Really? this is a $100 part that I really need from a sponsor I have spent over $5000 with over the years. Yes I know I am a smalltime customer. Plus they have my card on file if they would need to charge for ones they did not receive back. If I was trying to screw someone over it would have been a little bit higher dollar item. I was told this is a policy they dont change for anyone. They did inform me today that they found the pushrods I told them were already there and next day air my pushrods out. That I really do appreciate. I feel this is bad customer service and not sure I send them anymore of money which too bad because I really did like them up until this and I will be in the market for a shortblock soon. So what are your thoughts am I overreacting?
I'm sure there computer software system shows them how much money you have spent with them, especially since your credit card is on file. If I was you I'd be upset too. Bob
