Jake's Performance&Greg@FTI I wanted to post this up because I felt I was helped to a level above and beyond what I normally receive from other companies(not LS1Tech Sponsors).
I purchased a MVB and transbrake from Jake's Performance 2 months ago. I had it installed in my new full billet 4L80E by Jim at Transformance and had Greg Re-stall my FTI converter.
I had nothing but great advice and awesome work from Greg and Jake both, and not to forget Jim as he is the one who put it all together to make it work even though he isn't a sponsor.
After having the VB in the car for almost 3 weeks and traveling to Myrtle Beach and back(600+ miles) and 12 dragstrip passes and everything was working flawlessly and still would if it wasn't for my stupid ***.
I accidentally allowed a hot (12v) wire get grounded to my shifter gate which my transbrake grounds to and I fried the tranny plug on my transmission.
I called Jake after realizing my Transbrake was stuck in the on posistion and wouldn't disengage allowing me to move in 1st.
I couldn't get ahold of Jake at the time and when he was available I wasn't. He left his personal cell number with his lead tech for me to call and work the kinks out. NOT ONLY did he help me work the kinks out, he gave me the completr 411 on the inner workings of a 4L80E and how his product and his leading competitor's product worked. Now I don't know many shops who will divulge this kind of info but obviously Jake is a grown man that doesn't care if someone steals his ideas as he knows his customer service and proven track record and innovative ideas will always keep his customers repeats for life. Not only did he do all this above, but he then proceeded to stay on the phone with me and talk about my car, his car and customers cars for at least 2 hours I'd say over 2-3 phone calls. Then he even gave me the number he got brand new GM shortblocks that weren't being used for a helluva deal.
I just wanted to say thank you thank you thank you Jake for going above and beyond what was nesscessary to get the job done. You have a customer for life here!
Also I can't forget Greg@FTI and Jim@Transformance and then Bill Kendrick for putting it all together. Thanks again guys!
