Default Poor Experience with Midwest Chassis

Well I decided to go with the best for my bolt in f body 9 in. needs. I ordered my 9 in. on Dec 26 2013 I ordered a housing and axle package and a driveshaft no center section I already had one. I was told 4-6 weeks ok sounds great the weather will be still bad so time in the shop is great. so I call around the third week of February wondering how its going and to see when I could expect it to be heading my way I was told they were running a little behind and that it would be about a week out . OK were at 8 weeks now so i wait a week and call back they had not started it would be the next day ok cool so I would have it in a week . So the axles show up about week 10 still no rear end . I call up and end up talking to Eric he goes through my order because it is all screwed up and tells me I still owe another 500 but takes off 250 for my troubles this is the best part of this. so I just got it on 4-3-13, 13 weeks after I ordered it that sucks the weathers nice now and I would like to be driving the car now but I still got to put it together and get it installed . I go to put the driveshaft loop/ torque arm mount in no dice driveshaft loop hits the the y pipe so I shave a little down so it would clear still no fit so I do this three or Four times and realize I have to cut the damn loop off, ok so no loop I'll make one later. Go to bolt it up and the damn thing won't clear the bottom of the y pipe it is way too close on that side also so I have to make some 1 in. spacers so it would clear at the bottom I got my exhaust tucked up to the bottom of the car shouldn't be any reason for this "bolt on " part to not fit so I get one side up and go to put bolts in the other side . But I find out the f^ckn holes are about 1/2 in. to far out and the bolt won't start so I bust out the dremel and go to work to make it where the bolts would fit . Finely it fits I bolt it up now just bolt in the rear end and drive the damn thing right ,Wrong here it is 4-11-13, 7 pm on a Friday 74 out and sunny in kcmo no less and no F'n driveshaft what the F. I went to Midwest for what I had read was great service and the best parts so far I am not so impressed. Tomorrow I will go to bolt in the rear hopefully no issues we will see. Maybe I will get my driveshaft next week I wont hold my breath though.

Hi, did you call and talk to AJ? I'm pretty sure you don't need to cut your drive shaft loop off. Is your exhaust in the factory location? AJ can handle any question or issue you have. I've been discouraged many times working on my car, things always seem to work out. (no matter how mad I get, lol) Make a call and see if he can help you with these issues, I'm sure he can.

Good luck and remember it will all be worth it in the end!

Yes my exhaust is in the factory location the space between the loop and the top of the bracket was an 1 in.to small for my y pipe to fit through so it had to come off.
