Texas speed
After many many hours of reading,asking for advice and talking to various companies about my Cam selection I was finally satisfied with the help I got from Texas Speed. The gentleman that responded to my Inquirery on this sight was a big help, along with the gentleman that I was emailing back and forth with days later. HOWEVER! Their customer service sucks. I called Texas Speed today after receiving a email about my order. I was on hold for 45 minutes waiting for the gentleman who sent me the email. I called from my wife's phone while continuing to hold on my phone only to find out the guy I was on holdfor(45 min) was standing right next to the salesman who took my 2nd call. Once again I was put on hold for roughly 10 minutes.
to make matters worse once my call reached its intended target he gave me bad information cancelling my order and transferring me to another salesman. This new salesman informed me what I was just told, was completely wrong,had no idea why I was told what I was told and could not correct the issue. So I had to start the order process all over again. If I had not spent so much time and effort to find the Cam I wanted I would have went elsewhere. I am sorely disappointed especially after so many recommendations.

I'm sorry to hear that you were on hold for so long. It is our intention to answer all the calls as quickly as possible. A lot of customers like to chat for a while about their goals, and we want to be as helpful as possible and answer as many questions as possible. During Racing season we do get swamped with tech and sales calls. We give everybody the time they need to resolve all of their questions. This does result in having to wait on hold for other customers.
All of our Tech/Sales guys are in a "bullpen" area. They are all next to each other, but chances are they are helping other racers. Proximity doesn't really matter when looking for a certain person. I can't really speak on your other issue since there are no details about what happened. I would like to hear what happened and make sure everything was resolved.
