TSP Woes
Two years, a deployment, and a pandemic later, and I STILL don't have my $25 spring... Thanks, TSP! 🙄
After the FIRST four-ish months of calling every week trying to get the car back on the road, I left for deployment, thinking "oh well, at least it'll show up when I'm gone!" Man, guess I was wrong... I just called to get an update, see if maybe I could finally get another janky spring shipped out so I could actually see the car move under its own power this summer... NOPE. "Oh, this order was voided, at the end of September of that year!/Well, we only ever charged a dollar, anyway"
Well:
1) I got curious and PULLED UP my bank statements, and there's a transaction for TSP on there for the amount of the invoice (including the ridiculous $10.55 shipping) 🤷♂️
2) Almost four months from the time it was ordered until it was "voided", without sending out the part? At what point do you just snag a spring off of a stocked unit to send out, and replace it when the spring you "ordered" comes in?
3) kinda funny it got "voided" on the date it was, considering I was 4,000 miles away at the time, sooo... Who did that?
I mean, at this point, it's just comical... Do a $6,000 build through a company, have the throttle body spring break 2 years later after less than 4,000 miles, pay $25 for a 30 cent part that shouldn't have even broke and is a known issue, then never receive it.
Anybody got a 92mm TB they wanna sell, since I evidently can't get ahold of a spring to fix mine?
