. He has my car just doing some fixes and a couple little things and has been very helpful and knowledgeable. Cant wait to get my car back.

Eastside = excellent! Thanks to Ken @ EASTSIDE for doing some excellent work on my car today. The entire process, from the first visit to the shop to discuss what I wanted to have done ( line lock, underdrive pulley, ported throttle body, shift light and weld in slp frame connectors installed, and a retune ) right thru to picking up the car was very good. The parts were very competitively priced, labor was also very reasonable, and the quality of work was also excellent. I was very happily surprised when I called this afternoon, and found out that I could pick up the car the same day, he really did put my car on the top of his list, and got everything done right. I now have a much more soild feeling car, with a very stealth shift light, and line lock that will give me alot better way of heating up tires, and showing off when I wanna 
The motor also feels much stronger with the new pulley and proted TB, and the tune is also alot safer than the previous shop did ( I won't mention names ). My A/f is now at a safe 12.5, and is making 359.3hp/368.5tq, not too bad for a stock motor with headers and boltons. They even took care of my loose shifter **** that I didn't even mention to him as a problem, and they reprogrammed the TCS to be off on startup, something else I didn't even think of. I can't say enough good stuff about my experience, and I would reccommend anyone to go to them for any needs that you may have. I know who's gonna be getting all my parts and doing all my installs from now on... EASTSIDE!

After having great success with my first visit, I'm now having the driveline upgrades I plan to make over the winter priced out, so that the car will be ready for some serious HP come spring time. I can't say enough about Ken and the entire gorup there, good people to deal with. They ahve been patient and have listened to what it is that I want my car to do, and have been very helpful with recommendations as to the best way to get there. Definately worth giving them a call, very knowledgable people.

good call, i agree, they do what ever the customer wants, meaning if you want street race, both ect, they do it just right.

Right on. I was originally contemplating a th400 swap, but after learning that I'd lose the cruise and tcs, I'm opting to keep the M6, and just go steep on the rear gear in the 12 bolt, and a nasty clutch, most likly a spec 4I. Once the drivetrain and power is taken care, of, I'll get a 6 pt put in and a set of lightweight seats and battery to take the weight of the bar back out, and get it repainted, and then it's done. The car's gonna be mostly a street/cruise car, but I will take it to LVD every now and then, for stuff liek Hemming's Musclepalloza, and stuff like that. Maybe a GMHT shoot at e-town once a year, and of course, I'll play on the street a little, you know, keep the import guys in their place, maybe take their $$ a few times when the car first gets done before they figure anything out.
Hopefully it will get into the mid 12's on the power I am making now, and into the low 11's once the under hood stuff is complete. Not sure what path I'm taking on the motor yet, but I am thinking of something that will look stock to the untrained eye, just the obvious bolt on stuff visable, that way if anyone asks what's I've I'm runnin...

I'll add in I've used Eastside twice now (Clutch/SFC install, and 12bolt instal/valvespring swap) and both times the price was very reasonable, and the work was completed faster then expected. Guy and Ken were both super nice fellas, and I wouldn't heasitate to reccomend them.

Update.... looks like the stock clutch I hazed with the slicks is giving out sooner than expected. Seemed like it wanted to slip again yesterday.... and I smelt that smell again. Looks like I'll be doing that SPEC a little sooner than planned. I'll be setting up an appointment for the install in teh near future, and will update with the results.
