Default Absolute Speed outstanding orders

From the sounds of things, there are a few outstanding orders right now. I think Jay recently moved so that can be tricky.

Okay, if you ordered something or having an outstanding transaction that is over two weeks old, and you feel that you need an update, please post in this thread. Please post the following:

First, Last Name
City, State
Outstanding Item
Desired Outcome

Let's keep it to one thread.

Jay has put out excellent product so let's just focus on getting updates.

Just for the record, I ordered my heads in early July, with an expected delivery in August. Until recently Jay always returned my calls and emails. Mike looked into it last week and PM'd me that he thought it would be about 2 more weeks. I was able to wait for a while, but now I need the heads. All I really want to know is when to expect delivery so I can plan my time. The engine is out of the car and waiting.

Almost didn't see this thread

Stage II 6.0L Heads with bolts and gaskets
My money back till they are delivered. Or some assurance I will get them this month.
Ordered 06.04

Jay in his other post said mine would be done the week of Oct 17.

I have a leaky head gasket and don't want to remove the heads twice. I have also sold my current AS heads so I need to get them off now.

I don't have a problem with the product. As you can see those are my second set. But I need communication.

This is my Daily Driver.

Puchniak, Chris
Langley, BC, Canada (Shipping address Blaine, Wa)
5.3L SII assembled, plus gaskets, bolts, etc..
No urgency for me, just want the best (but reasonably soon)
Additional: But would like an update as to what I am getting in terms of Valve and Intake runner sizes (as there was some confusion previously). I would like to know what the final spec numbers are.

Ordered July. Last update from Jay the other week was that mine were supposed to be shipping out as of last week, which may have happened, but I haven'y heard word about it either way.

Thanks to Ed for alerting me to this thread.

One of our moderators has made contact with Jay. From the sounds of things he's waiting on some components and should be getting a bunch of heads done around the 15th.

Please post if you are waiting on stuff.

Over charged $280 yet to be refunded?

I was over charged $280 on 10/15 and have yet to see the refund. I received the heads but Jay charged me more that we agreed upon.

I'm awaiting a refund for a $100 overcharge on my heads. Jay has told me, back when I could contact him, over 3 months ago that he was refunding the money and I would see it within 7 days. Never got the money and after many emails and calls I can't get ahold of him. Product is great, just don't appreciate being Lied to.

I was talking to him when I was driving, and I went over a list of names I assembled from a few threads.

Dale I know for sure that your heads are going out today or tomorrow.

Jay is hopefully going to send me an email with a list of updates that I can post later today or tomorrow morning.

My CC company gave me my $100 back and charged the merchant that Jay uses today. I really hate to have to do business that way, but with Zero customer service I didn't have much choice in the matter. Good luck to you guys waiting on the heads. Jay has a killer product that makes GREAT power!

Thanks PSJ, that's good news for me. I know you work hard at keeping up with this on top of your regular duties here. It is greatly appreciated.

Smoke, you are as of this time not yet paid back? Are you pursuing it via a chargeback or anything? Jay said if you are not pursuing then he can just cut you a check.

Dale, you were in the next batch going out.

Ed Q, you are not in the next batch.

To the guy who is now doing AFR's, Jay is still waiting for a set of AFR's he ordered.

PSJ,

Yes I'm disputing the charges through my bank since Jay told me the credit went back through on 10/17 and I still have yet to see it on my account. I have bills to pay and I don't have time to wait on a check.

Thanks,

Joe

I think it is very poor we have to dispute charges through our credit card companys to get our money that is owed to us!

Smoke,
Took me about 3 weeks for the CC to issue the credit. Good luck buddy!

PSJ, if you got an update for my status I'd appreciate it if you could pass it on to me - not sure if my name came up. If its still a little while longer, thats ok, but if it going to be past November, I'll need to reconsider. Mine were supposed to be finished Oct 22, two weeks ago, based on the other thread.

Oh, and an update on the specs. Its been a bit so I don't recall even what springs he's getting me. I think I'd like the make of the springs, the runner size, the valves used and their size, etc... if Jay could email, or whatever.

I'm not sure if anyone else remembers exactly what the components are that are being used? If so, some help would be great!
