Just a question Why is it that threads get locked in this fourm? I can see if it not a sponser of the board why you would lock it, OR if it became a total flame fest or personal attacks. But if its someone letting someone else now about problems why would it get locked? Just wondering....

I lock threads if they are duplicative, like in the case of the APE thread where the user posted the same thread in 3 forums.
We also lock threads if they lose their way.
We also lock threads if they are done, ie. there has been resolution, and the parties involve are no longer discussing it, but the thread is getting beat to death.
