SLP is terrible
SLP is terrible I ordered some wheels on July 31 Sunday (online), hoping to have them by friday for a cruise in/show. The wheels I ordered were the 3rd gen ZR1 styles for my 91. I contacted them on Thuresday, August 4th to find out if I would be recieving the wheels later in the day. They told me that the wheels havn't even shipped yet and she couldn't tell me why, but they assured me that they would ship that day so i could recieve them by tomorrow. Well I just got off of the phone with them and the wheels havn't even shipped yet. But they did tell me that they were on the way out the door now 
. One more thing, I ordered tires from tirerack on the same night and recieved them on the 4th, and I paid for the same shipping that I did through SLP. I definately wont be ordering anything else from them.

Something I noticed about SLP, being that we used to be a dealer is; They tend to take orders for stuff they don't have in stock. Once they get enough orders of that product, only then will they place an order. Then once they get the stuff in, they will ship it out to the customers. Kinda sucks cause our customers would get pissed at us when it was something out of our control. 
holy cow,that sucks.i ordered a muffler from them and got it in less than a week.now i'm reading several posts about people getting jerked around.i must have gotten lucky.if there's going to be a delay or a problem,why can't some of these companys just give you an honest answer?
