Default why me?

Im not going to mention the names of the shops but I gotta say that some of the sponsers that we have on here are garbage. I am at the point that I dont know if i trust any of them. Now dont get me wrong i am sure that there are some that go above and beyond what they have to do...and i hope that there are more like that out there then i think. But i have been to 3 sponsers to get work dont on my car....Two did GARBAGE work...wrong parts installed, no parts installed, not tuned when paid for, did "maintinance" work to fix leaky axles....that umm STILL LEAK (you know who you are), charge me $1600 for stainless steal headers that have now complete rusted (yeah when they told me they where coated for "extra" protection that should have raised a red flag). The other shop did good work and gave the car a killer tune and i was happy with him but after i give him $10,000 worth of business he wont return any calls, emails, or pm's, causing me to go to one of the before mentioned shops. Maybe the moderators should actually move on the legitement complaints of there members when a shop does them dirty. Its not the shops that are screwing the members its the moderators for letting them stay aboard as a sponser. I am giving one more sponser a chance to get the car right and if it doesnt work out, then i will find other means.

If your going to post a negative post, you should really name the shops to give anyone else considering those shops a heads up.... But either way I'm sorry to hear about your luck, hope the new shop treats you right

I would call their asses out in a skinny minute. Money is hard to come by for me and I expect what I pay for. Calling them out would be alot better option for them if it was me.

Everybody makes mistakes but what you just mentioned is flat out dishonesty.

You are both right...but unfutunatley these shops both have large followings and i dont want to be alienated on this forum as a complainer or a trouble maker. I am just post just to let out some frustatration. I know it will not resolve anything. I actually am going to call one of the shops today and depending what reaction i get and how angree they get me, then ill post there names.

If you have issues with a sponsor you need to name them.

I am relatively new to this forum, so I would appreciate some guide lines.
I have on some other sites complained about sponsors, then been told by moderators, in a nice way I admit, not to bash sponsors. I don' t quite get it.
Would someone give me some guidence please.

Well, if you are having an issue with an Ls1tech sponser... like always you should try to resolve it between the two of you without having to make it public, but if you can't get anywhere privately and feel like you need help... than post up. I've seen quite a few sponsers fix problems that were taken public on the board...

Thanks, but to me it's not the issue ofhaving it fixed, it's more an issue of:
A. letting others know/
B. Venting, but also putting my case before forum members and being judged, (hopefully in my favour).
Guess I am just the type that wants to know how my peers feel about a situation, and if I am right or wrong about feeling badly done by.
Guess that was already a bit of a rant. (smile)

Thanks, appreciate the advice, and the smile it gave me. I don't mind the "tough love" (judgement) as long as it's fair.
I'll post soon.

Yeah i havent posted up because i am yet to actually just sit in front of a computer. I have just been driving that thing all day long...I just cant stop its so much fun. This is what i was expecting when i started this project almost 2 years ago. I can't thank Ken at East Side enough. I did not expect these results. I wish i took the ride sooner. He has a customer for life out me and i am sending a few buddies of mine of there to him as well.

Congrats... I should have noticed, I think I saw you post in the eastern sect. Ken is a great guy, thats where I've had all of my work done. Glad your happy with the car and I'm sure your friends will be just as happy with him and Eastside!

I tried to lay it out in such a way that it was fair to them as well as to me, and also to make the whole incident easy to follow. It turned unto a huge post (about 1 1/2 pages on a word document) and it was only half done.
At that point I figured it was just too big to post and stopped. I also realized that it really would not change anything, and I really did not care any more as it's not that important in the overall scheme of my life, nether is the $175 that I paid P@#$&41ESS.

that is when you make a new user name that no one knows about and post it up as a random person no one knows..
