FWIW, John has shipped me three converters to Hawaii, same boxes and packing and my converters did not get the **** kicked out of them like yours looks. I would put that on FedEx not John. I am sure when FedEx picks them up from Johns shop the look the box over to make sure it is secure. Once it leaves Johns, its not his issue. Ppl really need to learn wtf is up I swear.

Yeah i would take it up with Fed Ex, i use to work in a hub packing and unpacking trucks. That job sucked *** and they dont care about the boxes there, if its torn put alittle tape on it and she is good to go by there standards. Fed Ex sucks and if i had the choice not to use them i wouldnt even ship a non breakable item from them b/c they would somehow break it. And ive talked to Fuddle about his converters and he replied very fast and i havent even bought a converter from him yet lol.

Hmm...another post about how a sponsor did someone wrong (when in actuality FedEx is not a sponsor here ) and then we hear the sponsor say they offered to send a new out (missed posting that in the original complaint thread huh?). After the sponsor posts, there no more complaining? Thats really odd, gee I wonder why things like this always come up?

Terrible experience here as well................. take your money quickly, then ignore you........ won't answer the phone, won't return calls, e-mails, pm's......... Took over 8 weeks for me to get a converter after paid in full ($605), tried to get a refund, tried to cancel the order before they built it......... no chance......... just got a few stories and what I believe to be lies so they could keep my money and blow me off until they sent me something........ then said "no refunds".

Fuddles business skills leave much to be desired............ expect the "Fuddle Fan-Club" to dissagree, but you'll keep hearing story after story of how they ignore people and blow them off after they get your money...... not to mention that little $50 shipping charge they scam out of everyone atnd pocket at least half of.

I will tell everyone I ever can not to give business to this company because of how they treated me, ignored me, and lied to me.

I am not bashing their product, because it took so long for me to actually get the one I paid for that I bought a competitors converter to get the car together that I never got to find out if it worked well or not....... but their customer service definately sucks and people need to hear this before going through what I did.

8 weeks does seem kind of extreme, but try to remember that most of the stuff we order for these cars is either custom made or made in small batches. I love it when people get on these boards & complain about how it took so long to get thier custom ground cam.

I ordered a custom made turbo for one of my vehicles a couple of month's ago, it's still not here yet, but I do realize that since I'm looking for a very specific hot side flange that my wait could be another month or 2. It's just part of the game.

If you have a problem with Fuddle, I suggest you start your own thread so they can defend themselves.

Funny thing, the original poster hasn't said **** since John replied, no apology, no resolution, nothing.

John has gone FAR out of his way for many of us on this board, someone is bound to fall through the cracks and not get something on time (like yourself), I just hope you never have to order a set of headers from QTP or Kooks, you'll be waiting so long you might try and bend a set yourself!

You should read a little in the vendors feedback forum then.......... I have, and just got blown off, ignored, and just plain lied to by John.

It's not just the fact that it took 8 weeks after expecting a 2-3 week build time, it's the fact in my case that he wouldn't return phone calls, wouldn't answer e-mails, wouldn't respond to posts or pms, and just flat out ignored me knowing that I wanted a refund because of the time it was taking and I had to buy a different converter to get the car back together........... Instead, he kept my money, would not respond to any of my messages until he could finally get a converter out to me and then claimed "oh, no refunds, no matter what"........ very poor business ethics........

If you had a good experience with Fuddle, good for you and consider yourself lucky......... but I will continue to tell everyone how they handled my purchase and suggest that they should buy from a reputable company that has proven over time that they can provide not only a good product, but good support and service as well, even after they get your money........... In my experience, Fuddle cannot.

Fuddle just forgot to empty the trans oil out of your new and never used before converter. There is nothing to worry about.
